Bottle Water vs. The Environment


I think that carbon economics legislation can and will change all of this. If governments around the world start to montior the supply chain and charge companies a tax for carbon emissions, then the field could be leveled. This wouldn't make the environmentally friendly products cheaper now, but it would force innovations to make them so in the future. If we can't force this change in economics then affordability will be irrelevant because our civilization will die off.
