Bottle Water vs. The Environment
There is a well written article at Fast Company www.fastcompany.com/magazine/117/features-message-in-a-bottle.html that does a nice job of reporting the economic and resource costs associated with the bottled water industry.
Most of it a logic arguement that we have increased bottled water consumption based on marketing, and there are no benefits to drinking bottled water, but there is a high resource and economic cost to it.
The econmics didn't make sense for us, as we have healthy and great tasting water from our city source, so we have reduced our bottled water consumption from a case a week, to a few bottles a month.
