Yes, they really do accept toys, especially toys that can be disinfected. I have given a lot of toys to daycares that are also not-for-profits. The daycare I listed is called Operation Breakthrough, and it's in Kansas City. I have also given toys and board books to my church daycare. Give that stuff away! But be sure to see how much it is worth first - once you see how much your donations are really worth (by using Deduction Pro or other software), you'll never have another garage sale again. It's probably worth more than you could get at a garage sale as a tax donation.
