Bottle Water vs. The Environment

First of all, I agree that we cast our votes with our dollars, and we should do what we can afford to do to support sustainable practices. As for bottled water, people should know that much of it is actually plain municipal water, anyway. In addition, it does not have the same rigorous standards applied to it that municipal water has. In other words, it legally does not have to be as good or pure as your tap water has to be. If for some reason, you believe you need to drink bottled water, please recycle. It is not only the environment that benfits--it is your wallet (it takes a huge amount of your tax money to dig a new cell at a landfill!).
